After more than 1,839 votes were cast and tallied, MyDigitalKitchen.com edged out the competitors to earn the title of best cooking site of the year. The designation of best cooking site was awarded by votes from members of the culinary community.

MyDigitalKitchen.com, a cooking site filled with recipes, downloads, links, and more, was named the best cooking site of 2009 by the Chef2Chef community.

Each year, Chef2Chef users nominate and rank up to 100 of their favorite sites in various categories. The sites are then voted on during an open voting round, and the winners are those that tally the best score out of a possible perfect 5. Since the winners are voted on by a community of home chefs and cooking experts, the highest ranked are considered "the best of the best in all things culinary."
